    Who shows up

Who will you actually deal with at Element?

The owner. He is the Tampa Bay roofing contractor named on Florida license CCC1336059, so the person who climbs your roof, writes the price and answers the phone afterward is the one accountable for the result. His wife runs permits and the office side, which is what “family-run” means here.

    • No salesperson in between. Nobody earns a commission by adding line items at your kitchen table.
    • Seven years on Florida roofs. The company opened in 2024; the hands-on experience behind it goes back further.
    • Licensed and insured. You can look the license up yourself on the state DBPR site before anyone sets foot on a ladder.
    • Still local after the job. If something needs a second look next rainy season, the same person comes back.

    How it works

What happens after you ask for an estimate?

One phone number, one decision-maker and a price on paper before any work begins.

Leads that come in at night usually get a call from the owner by the next morning, and an inspection is typically set within a couple of days. Leaks get moved to the front of that line.

    1. 1

      Tell us about the roof

Use the estimator above for a ballpark range, or phone (813) 501-7240. Photos of stains or missing shingles help.

    2. 2

      On-site look

The owner checks the roof surface, flashing, vents and, where he can reach it, the attic, taking pictures as he goes.

    3. 3

      Honest recommendation

Some visits end with “leave it alone for now.” When a repair will do, you will not be pitched a new roof.

    4. 4

      Fixed written price

The number on paper is what you pay. Two sheets of replacement decking are built in; anything beyond that is shown to you in photos and approved by you first.

    5. 5

      Install and cleanup

New roofs usually start within one to two weeks of signing and take one or two days. Half is paid at signing, half at completion.

    Comparing quotes

How should you compare roofing contractors across Tampa Bay?

Line up the materials, the warranty and the company’s staying power, not just the total. A low bid that leaves out underlayment or decking often climbs once the old roof comes off.

    Underlayment

Ask what goes under the shingles. Element puts peel-and-stick underlayment on every install as standard; many bids list felt or synthetic and charge extra for the upgrade.

    Decking allowance

Find out how rotten wood is handled. Ours includes two sheets and documents any more before it is added.

    Workmanship warranty

Ours is five years on labor, separate from the shingle manufacturer’s product warranty.

    Who is accountable

Check whose name is on the license. Here it is the owner, not a sales rep or a qualifier you will never meet.

    Staying power

Ask whether the company will be answering its phone three years from now. A local contractor has every reason to.

    Real reviews

Read what homeowners say about communication and cleanup. Element holds a 5.0 Google rating across 20 reviews.

    Service area

Which Tampa Bay communities does Element serve?

Hillsborough County is the core of the map. Repair calls there stay within roughly half an hour of our office, which covers the communities below, and replacements follow the same towns. Volusia County homeowners, from DeLand to Daytona Beach, are served as well.

Homes inside the city limits have a separate page on roof work in the city of Tampa. Our office sits in Riverview, and the roofing company in Riverview page covers the neighborhoods closest to it.

On the Atlantic side, Volusia County roofing covers DeLand, Deltona, Daytona Beach and the towns around them. Apollo Beach, Brandon, FishHawk, Valrico and every other community we work in are listed under Service Areas in the site menu.

    Track record

What do homeowners say about Element Roofing?

A 5.0 rating from 20 Google reviews and about 100 finished roofs. Two of those jobs are written up start to finish on our projects page: a chimney leak that had rotted the decking beneath it, and a full re-roof in CertainTeed Pewter shingles on a home of about 3,500 sq ft.

For one Tampa Bay homeowner, the owner “made the whole process feel easy and stress free” from inspection day to cleanup.

    Common next questions

    Repair, replace or wait?

After a first look at their roof, most homeowners put one of these four questions to their Tampa Bay roofing contractor.

    Repair or replace

    Is a repair enough?

Often, yes. A failed vent boot or a few loose shingles do not justify a new roof, and you will be told so plainly.

    Storm damage

What if wind took shingles off?

Keep water out first. We tarp and make emergency repairs, then write up exactly what the storm damaged, with dated photos of each spot.

    Budget

How do I get a ballpark number?

The estimator at the top of this page gives a range in about a minute, and the free inspection turns that range into a written price.

    Timing

Is there a better season to re-roof?

Dry months are easier, but a roof that is already leaking should not wait for them. Most installs take one or two days on the roof.

    FAQ

Roofing questions Tampa Bay homeowners ask us

Short, direct answers from the owner’s side of the ladder.

Is Element Roofing Solutions licensed and insured?

Yes. Element Roofing Solutions holds Florida certified roofing contractor license CCC1336059, issued in 2024 in the owner’s name, and it carries liability insurance.

Which parts of Tampa Bay does Element Roofing cover?

Hillsborough County first. Repairs are handled within about 30 minutes of our office, which takes in Brandon, Riverview, Apollo Beach, Valrico, FishHawk, Lithia, Gibsonton, Sun City Center and parts of Tampa, and Volusia County homeowners are served as well.

    What does the estimate cost?

Nothing. The roof inspection and written estimate are free, and there is no obligation to sign.

What roof types do you install?

Architectural shingle, concrete tile, metal and stone-coated steel, plus low-slope sections over porches and additions. We also install and replace skylights.

    What does your warranty cover?

Element gives a 5-year workmanship warranty covering anything that is not storm damage or a manufacturer defect. The shingle maker’s own product warranty applies on top of it.

Will you help with my HOA’s roof color rules?

If you want the help, yes. Most owners send in their association’s approved color list on their own, and the owner can supply the roof specifications the board asks for.

Do you work on commercial roofs?

On a small scale. Element repairs roofs on apartment buildings and small storefronts and looks at condos case by case, but homes come first.

How soon will I hear back?

The owner calls you himself, usually by the next morning, and schedules the inspection for within a couple of days.

Ready for a straight answer about your roof?

The inspection and written price are free, and they come straight from the licensed Tampa Bay roofing contractor who will do the work.
